Transform Your Makeup: Dual-Purpose Products

1. Lipstick as blush and Cream blush as lipstick

There are products that are marketed as lip/cheek products. But you can use a regular lipstick for your cheeks. And liquid blush can be used as lipstick.

2. Bronzer as Eye shadow

This is especially convenient if you like to wear golden bronze tones on your eyelids.

3. Eye shadow as highlighter…(golden/bronze/pearly) or eyeliner(dark shadows)

Also use your dark eye shadow as eyeliner.

4. Powder eye shadow as brow product

Chocolate brown eye shadows work well for filling in the eyebrows. For lighter brows….I don’t know what would work. Taupe?……..🤷🏾‍♀️

5. Eyeliner as lip liner

(If your chosen liner is used as eyeliner only use it for your eyes for proper hygiene and vice versa). I have a brown eyeliner that I only use for lips. It was just the muted color I wanted for my lips. And the color didn’t show up on my eyes. So I repurposed it. So I guess I broke the rule. 😅🫣But I only use it for my lips now.

There was a time I used concealer as eyeshadow primer, but that was before I found full coverage primers. I’ve also used dark cool-toned eyeshadows as powder contour before.
In the early days of me wearing makeup, brands used to make bronzer ranges so light that I could use their deepest shades as highlighters. So, technically that’s another one. These days, I don’t use as many items for multiple purposes. One of the most recent ones though was using the Charlotte Tilbury Glow Foundation Stick as highlighter because it’s so luminous!

I guess nothing beats a good primer or anything high end for that matter. I think its just fun to see how many ways a product can be used. lol Nice product repurposing thats what I’m talking about 😂
