I bought this blush because Keke Palmer wore it in a makeup tutorial. She said it’s her favorite blush. And we are similar in color and I’m often told that she is my look a like. So I thought if it looks good on her maybe it’ll look good on me. And it does. I liked it instantly.

I think it enlivens my face and compliments my neutral warm complexion well.

It’s not a color I would’ve chosen before I saw Keke’s video. Since I have brown skin I’d go for the more wine or raisin colored blushes before. –

Here’s the video I saw…

Mac Peaches is mentioned towards the end. But her entire natural makeup look is beautiful. Since trying this product, I don’t use blushes that are more red anymore. I stick to the peach/coral/pink family as I’ve said before. It’s also my favorite of all the blushes I own.

Update:As of May 2026 this shade isn’t available anymore since Mac’s release of their Colourstruck Blushes.

Mac Blush Peaches Swatch

Mac Peaches blush swatched on brown skin.

Pros

Nice natural color especially on muted warm skin tones

Cons

The only con I can think of is that the color needs a little building on deeper skin.

If you have brown skin you may wonder how it will show up on you. But it looks good on a warm undertone even your complexion is a deep. And especially if you are muted and warm.

I got this shade as a free birthday gift a few years ago, but I think I gave it to my friend without trying it first (I may have assumed it would be too light). Oops. lol.

Lol! It does seem that way in the pan for sure. But I think it would have complemented you well.
