MAC Spotlight: Woodwinked Eyeshadow

In December I bought a refill pan of Mac Woodwinked eye shadow ($11). Mac Cosmetics website describes the color as a warm antiqued gold. I’ve also seen it described as a warm golden-taupe. And I think the golden-taupe description may be a little more accurate. It is eye brightening and it’s just my color..gold! All the gold eye shadows I’ve used in the past were much more orange leaning. But this one is more neutral to me which is perfect because I think my undertone is a neutral warm.

How I Wear Woodwinked Eye shadow

First, I blend Mac Saddle into the crease of my eyelid.

Then I put Woodwinked on my lids. And I like to blend it out again with a little more of Saddle.

I also like a light application of Woodwinked on my eyelid alone blended into the crease. I don’t have the best quality picture. It doesn’t show quite true to color. But it is close, Overall, I’s recommend Wookwinked and I’d also repurchase.

I give it a 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
