I did a simple face today like always and I wanted to share it. I was in the mood for pink blush today. I picked out an L.A. Colors blush that I bought yesterday called Peony Perfect. I like to buy cheap blushes to try out for fun to experiment with different colors. If it works it works. Like I always say its not like anyone will know how much it costs by looking at your face. If it turns out I didn’t like it didn’t cost much money. Anyway, Perfect Peony gave just the pink flush I was looking for. Here’s how the rest of the look came out.

I paired it with Mac Whirl lip liner which is more of a muted rose color. I liked that it looks natural and pairs well with the peony color on my cheeks without it being too much pink. And I wore Mac Gold deposit on the highpoints of my cheeks on my nose and on my forehead. You can’t see it on my cheeks but my nose is shiny like Rudolph.

In addition to the blush, I wore Revlon Iluminance Skin Caring Foundation for a natural, glowing base. My eyes are lined with Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner in Black, and I finished with Maybelline Lash Life Mascara in Black. I usually wear brown eyeliner but I wanted a bolder eyeliner to stand out while still complementing the soft flush of the blush.

That sums it up. I was going for soft and fresh with a pop pink — perfect for adding that gentle flush of color to brighten up the day. I kept the rest of the makeup neutral to let the blush do all the talking. 💕✨
