Eyebrow Product Favorites

Some time last year, I was browsing the makeup section of a store to possibly find something to buy that I do not need. And I spotted something called Revlon brow fantasy. I bought it to try knowing I never fill in my eyebrows. I’ve never really like to fill in my eyebrows because I thought my face just couldn’t handle it. It probably had a lot to do with the fact that I was using very saturated black pencils and dark browns to fill in my brows. Once time several years back I thought I’d try to fill in my eyebrows to see how it would look. I figured that since my hair is black I could used my black eyeliner pencil-and then I immediately wiped it midway through as I was realizing that it was looking horrible. Instead of looking natural I looked angry. After that I tried grey LOL Grey was just as bad. I don’t know why I thought that might look good. lol And I also tried other brow products that I just didn’t care for. I just assumed having filled in eyebrows wasn’t for me and left it at that. Until fairly recently I revisited the Revlon brow fantasy that I had left all alone and tried it out to see how it would look. It looked good and I could walk out the door with it on my face without the possibility of looking like a crazy person.

Revlon Brow Fantasy- Dark Brown

One end is a pencil to fill in brows.

And the other side is a gel….

Pros: The pencil is very light and puts down the perfect amount of color. Not too much but just enough. It looks very natural and feels like there is nothing on the eyebrows even with the gel in them.( Though I’ve never been one to apply makeup to heavily.) My eyebrow hairs weren’t hard or stiff. It just felt like normal eyebrow hairs just a tiny bit heavier because you can tell a little bit that there is something there but it is soft to the touch. It just creates a soft shadow on the skin to make your eyebrows look thicker and filled in the gel side to set and darkens them.

Cons:

None

Trying out the Brow Fantasy inspired me to try out another product I had that I don’t really use. It is the Maybelline Brow Precise in Soft Brown. It has a soft brown colored pencil on one end and a spooley on the other.

And the other side is a spooly..

Pros: It is a light natural brown and no matter how hard you press it looks natural. You can’t really mess it up.

Cons: None

Anastasia dip brow comes is a little bit darker than the other two in color. But it looks natural when applied with a lighter hand. It also comes in more shades than the one I use.

Annnnd……that sums up my experience with eyebrow products.

Thanks for reading.

Until next time.
