   1. Eggnog! It has been a tradition with my in-laws to make it every Christmas. Hot Chocolate is delicious for winter in general, but Eggnog is definitely more of a Christmas thing for me.
   2. Candy Canes. Again, it’s more Christmas specific. I like all the different flavors, but classic peppermint is nostalgic for me.
   3. Online shopping
   4. Colored lights
   5. Chocolate Chip Cookies. I’m going with the less traditional one here because gingerbread cookies can be bad if someone doesn’t make them correctly. It’s hard to mess up chocolate chip though. lol.
   6. In the evening of Christmas Eves in the past was when I was allowed to open one gift and then the other presents I could open on Christmas morning. Nowadays with my husband’s family, most presents are opened on Christmas Eve.
   7. Christmas music feels less repetitive. I can skip songs I don’t care for, but it’s weird to skip “boring” parts of Christmas movies. So Christmas music requires less commitment. lol.
   8. Snow!
   9. Classic coffee, but I’m not a coffee person to begin with.
   10. I used to say artificial tree before coming to Germany. Now, I say real tree, but I like the small ones as they are less of a hassle. I might prefer artificial if we go back to getting larger trees.

      I’ve never had Eggnog maybe I don’t know what I’m missing. 😄 and you can’t go wrong with going traditional.
