Maybelline Fit Me foundation is not new to the scene. It’s been around for years. But I find a product I like and buy it over and over without using anything else. So I never paid much attention to this foundation since I bought what worked for me over and over. As I write this, it came back to mind that I DID own a Maybelline Fit Me foundation in the shade Truffle years ago. It wasn’t a good match for me and so I didn’t really wear it long enough to see how the product performed.
It took me years to get around to buying it again. But I have… a couple of times in fact. I bought the shade 355 Coconut and it was too dark. I also bought Classic Tan and that was too light. So I got online and saw what other shades there were in the line and I saw 356 Warm Coconut ($7.99). I watched a few reviews of it and it looked like a close match to me. It is a bit lighter than Coconut 355 ($7.99) and of course warmer. And I do have a warm undertone so I ordered on amazon to try it out. And it turned out to be a good match. I don’t usually wear matte foundations as I have dry skin. But this one was wearable and didn’t create dry patches or look overly matte. I applied mine with a damp beauty sponge and it blended perfectly. I wore it for a few hours I’d say about 5-7 and it still looked good by the time I washed it off. I have a lot of hyperpigmentation and it covered it very well even with a thin layer of product.
It is in a bottle with a screw on cap. There is no pump. You just pour it out on your hand or brush or however you apply it. You probably already know that as this has been around for 300 years 😂. But if you didn’t know now you know. 😉

Pros
- Not drying or cake-y looking
- Looks skin like not too matte of a finish
- Build-able coverage
- Blends very well into the skin

To me it seems like a lot of the darker shades lean very orange. So the shade selection isn’t very varied in the undertone. Its either cool or orange/red in undertone.
