It’s International Makeup Day! 🎉💄👄

I didn’t know that International Makeup Day was a thing! Did you? In honor of this day I thought I’d write a short post to share my makeup of the day. I kept it minimal today and stuck to four products.

Revlon Illuminance Foundation in 501 Toasted Caramel
Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Powder in Dark
Mac Blush Coppertone
Revlon Lipstick in the shade Mink

I didn’t wear any eyeshadow, mascara, or eyeliner. I just wanted to go as natural and as quick as possible.

I didn’t know it was a thing either lol. I finally broke down and tried MAC’s studio fix powder plus foundation reformulation. Today is the first time wearing it, and I like it so far. But it is nothing like the OG formula, so I get why people are unhappy about the new one. Other than that, I wore my go-to NARS natural radiant longwear foundation, so I could tell how the MAC powder acted. Used my Lancome serum concealer, which isn’t my favorite, but I knew I’d be able to tell how the MAC powder worked with that concealer easier since it has a lighter coverage than other options I have. Then, for all the color products, I used Lancome eyeshadows, Armani Bronzer, MAC blush, MAC highlighter, and a Chanel Lipstick. It’s normal for me, but that’s an expensive face of makeup lol .

  Nice! You’re fancy I need to get like you.😄I hadn’t heard that the Studio fix powders were reformulated. Then again I haven’t paid much attention to the Mac powder foundations. What’s different about the new formula?

    They removed talc from the formula. So, it’s not as smoothing, not as mattifying, and has less coverage. At least that’s what I’ve noticed so far.
