1.What Type of Products do you go through the most?

I use foundation the fastest. Because of hyperpigmentation I’ll wear foundation if nothing else. I like makeup that is base focused or makeup that looks like skin. A close second is mascara since it has to be replaced more frequently.

2. What’s your go-to everyday makeup look?

I wear foundation, eyeliner in either brown or black depending on what I feel like wearing. And blush usually in a some shade of peach or coral.

3. What is your favorite drugstore brand?

It’s a tie between L’Oreal and Revlon. To me loreal has the best mascaras out of all drugstore mascaras. And Revlon lipsticks are the best. They do not have a scent and offer a lot of color options.

4. What was your first lipstick?

 My first lipstick was given to me when i was about 11 years old Clinique Bamboo Pink.

And then when I bought my first one it was two NYC lipsticks one was sugar plum and the other was Violet Shine.

5. What was your first mascara?

Bonne bell black mascara. (Classic makeup brand for a preteen of the 2000s lol)

6. What makeup products do you use that you can’t leave home without?

  Can’t leave without at least foundation on and a chapstick.

7. How often do you shop for makeup? Do you like to pick up an item here and there or get lots at once?

I shop as the urge hits. I usually get one or two things at a time especially if it’s on what I consider to be the expensive end which is 20 dollars lol so I guess the answer is here and there.

8. What cosmetic brands have you always wanted to try but still haven’t?

Urban decay, Pat McGrath, Charlotte Tilbury, Too Faced, Bobbi Brown

9. Do you like multifunctional products like lip and cheek stains?

Yes, though I usually only use them on my cheeks because I’m very particular about lip products.

10. What was your first blush?

My first blush was a Clinque blush that was given to me when I was about 11 years old. I do not remember the color. I think it was some shade of ashy plum. LOL

But I do remember the first one I purchased at 17 which was L’Oreal True Match Blush in the color Soft Sun. I bought it over and over every time I ran out. Then the formula changed…..Then the shade was discontinued.

11. Do you apply foundation before or after eye makeup?

I think foundation is called foundation for a reason. And it goes on before everything else. And I don’t do eyeshadow heavy makeup so there’s no need to put it on after eyeshadow because I’m not worried about fallout.

12. Bold lip or bold eye?

Bold Eye. For me, a bold eye is just black eye liner on top and bottom lash lines and eyeshadow. A muted warm color is about as bold as I’ll get with lipstick. My face gets overpowered very easily by bold colors or too much makeup in general so I stay away from those. If I do wear “bold” lipstick it its very rare and will be sheered out. And I think on me especially if the eyes are bold then the lips should be neutral. And if the lips are neutral the eyes should be toned down. It’s very easy for me to get into clown zone if I’m not careful.

13. How did you learn to do makeup?

Trial and error, watching YouTube videos, and experimenting for the fun of it. But I’ve never liked to wear a lot so there was never really much of a chance to mess it up unless I went to crazy on the blush. But that is fixable.
